St. Regis Mountain
St. Regis Mountain is located in the Saranac Lake region of the Adirondacks and is part of the Adirondack fire tower challenge and Saranac 6er challenge. It rises 2,874' above sea level and due to a fire in 1876 most of the summit is bare rock. There are amazing views on the summit as well as from the fire tower. The high peaks can be seen as well as thirty lakes in the Adirondacks. (Photos were taken with a Canon 70D, with an 18-200mm lens.)
