Champlain Memorial Lighthouse
Also know as the Crown Point Lighthouse, the Champlain Memorial Lighthouse was originally built in 1858, rebuilt in 1911-1912 and restored in 2004. In 1926 the light was extinguished and shortly thereafter the Crown Point Bridge was built connecting New York and Vermont. Views from the top of the lighthouse offer views of Lake Champlain and the newly built Lake Champlain Bridge, which replaced the old bridge in 2011. (Photos were taken with a Canon 70D with an 18-200mm lens.)
